| Marian Green was raised in northern California, where she excelled in sports. In high school she competed for the state championship in swimming, ran cross-country, and played basketball and soccer. While attending UCLA on a chemistry scholarship, she was on UCLA’s first women’s soccer team (1978), trained in gymnastics, the martial arts, SCUBA, and attended Kahana’s Stunt School. After college, she began performing stunts for many of 1980's action-packed TV shows including Cagney and Lacey, Knightrider, Magnum P.I. and The Fallguy where she met her husband, cinematographer Michael Hofstein. She furthered her training with “Judo” Gene LeBell and got into racing motocross. On screen, Marian became known for performing car hits and hitting the ground hard!
After working on a plethora of hit movies and TV shows during the 1980s & '90s, Marian became a stunt coordinator. Today she lives with her husband and daughter in Savannah, Georgia. |
